The founders of Mantis Security are recognized experts in the fields of Information Assurance (IA), Systems and Security Architectures, Risk Management and Security Compliance, Network and Software Security, and Software Development. They have led large software engineering, IA, and IT teams to design and deliver secure information systems within highly regulated DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) environments that comply with ICD 503, CNSS, NIST 800, and other DoD, IC, and Federal security regulations.

They have served in key roles for IC, DoD, and Federal customers including as the Chief Architect, Engineering Lead, ISSM, ISSO, Security Assessment Lead, and as the IA Lead for multiple mission critical and sensitive information systems.

Mantis Security founders have expertise migrating legacy systems to the cloud in support of IC ITE integration, virtualizing “big iron” information systems, enhancing security controls for “high baseline” systems, hardening network and data security, supporting IA needs throughout the SDLC process. They have been responsible for the technical vision, system architecture, security architecture, and execution strategy for multiple large systems that enable highly sensitive operations, and have provided system and security expertise for information systems on multiple classified networks, including cross domain information systems and multi-level security (MLS) systems with enhanced MAC, DAC, and ABAC access controls.

Mantis Security founders work regularly with senior stakeholders, decision makers, data owners, program managers, engineering leads and security professionals to provide responsive and effective information systems security support in a wide range of IA, architecture, and engineering solutions. They hold numerous professional certificates, including cloud architecture, systems architecture, software development, and information systems security and auditing.
